Some 30-35 years ago, I used to teach Crystal Healing Workshops. I studied under the auspices of Oh Shinnah Fast Wolf for many years, and learned many wonderful and magical things. I have used crystals alone for healing, and have used them in conjunction with acupuncture, as well. Crystals have always been a part of my life, and have added to it in untold ways.
The other day I decided to give away one of my precious crystals that has been with me for decades. It is always exciting to impart a crystal on another person, knowing their life will be enriched by it. On this occasion I decided to give a crystal to my great-nephew, Logan. When he gets older I will impart more information about the crystal. For now I told him it was like the crystals where Superman lives, and he can surely relate to that. The crystal I gave him is double.. one large one, and a smaller one growing next to it. I'd like to think of that as representing me and Logan.

88/365 crystals
Ancient dwelling of frozen time. Perhaps if you own a crystal, you were part of that time, too, and you've been reunited with a part of your long past. Many stories and legends of sorts, about crystals, and their place in your life. I've worked with crystals for 32 years, and had one really significant teacher, named, Oh Shinnah Fast Wolf. I could see purple falling from a crystal she was infusing with color, and I was right on the money.
I've used crystals to take aways pain, both physical and mental and emotional. Worked on Acupuncture points with and without needles. Using the crystal to stimulate the needle, and indeed you could see the needle circling round as the crystal did. That was confirmation of it's powerful energy field.
It is good to have a crystal that you can hold comfortably in your hand. The crystal that is yours alone, and not to be used for healing, except of yourself. Ultimately all healing is a healing of the self anyway.
Look at the caverns and ledges in your crystals -- you were there. Do you recognize anyone in there? Everytime you look you'll see something new.
*A free-write is a type of automatic writing, where you just go with your stream of consciousness non-stop. There's no thought to spelling or grammar, and no editing of words. Supposedly this opens the mind up to greater creativity. They can be 5, 10 or 20 minutes long. Suggestions for freewrites are always welcome. Visit Evie, with whom I freewrite, at the space between colors.

insomnia, love, and crystals
You can just tell when a night of insomnia is upon you. It's 2am an you've watched all the syndicated repeats you can possibly stand, and still sleep doesn't come.
I get out of bed, groggy from a nightime medicine I take, but not groggy enough... just enough to stumble over to the computer to see if there are any other life forms out there at this hour.
No, there are not.
I miss 2am notes from a lover who is no longer around. Miss the constant banter back and forth, the tones of "you've got mail" over and over again.
Now the mail is silent, except for one or two old beaus who still reach out, wanting to know if we can get together. And still, I don't have it in my heart to be with anyone else. It has been three years, and I can't bring myself to consider a new acquaintence, or even an old one. Makes me wonder how long it takes for this kind of love to go away... that something that continues to hold me back, as if it were still part of my life. Talk about lack of closure.
I wait for an email that says Forgive me, I know I was wrong, I should have never stayed away so long. The email doesn't come, but still I expect it; each day I expect it.
How does one close the heart, and move on?
I learned many years ago to wear a crystal around my neck, to cover my heart center, to keep it protected. It has been a long time since employing that knowledge, and I'm thinking it may well be time to do that again. These are simple actions, and they help me to remember.
Tomorrow I will look for the right crystal to protect my heart; surely there is one around here somewhere. Perhaps I'll look now.
Here's one that has been around for quite sometime. My father used to carry it with him. Time for it to be cleaned and programmed, and prepared for me.
