the need for more wreckage

I have been remiss in updating my Wreck This Journal process. The book tends to get me mad because I want to do more wrecking to the pages than I seem called to do. I don't know if that makes any sense. Probably not.
I took the damn book into the shower with me.... how nuts was that? Showering with a book? Ha, it didn't even get all that ruined, but achieved a nice puffy look.
I also cut the book up... well some of the pages, and drew ugly pictures for it too. Just working on ruining the cover. What a strange process. I still am not enthralled with it, and wish I could be more creatively destructive, as I've seen other people being with their journals! Here are the latest pics.

wreck my mind

So I have this here copy of "Wreck This Journal", and I'm joining a group of other wreckers at The Next Chapter, created by Jaimie Ridler.

Kavindra compared it to the crazy wisdom of Chogyam Trungpa or Bhagwan Rajneesh. This analogy helped me view this "gimmicky" book in a different light. I am going to embrace the pointlessness of it and have at it.
I started on the book, having burned and poked and stained some pages. It's quite mindless, and I guess that's the point!
