Hard to explain, walking man. It's a dying technique that uses wax as a resist. You 'paint' with the wax where you do not want to the color to go. This can be done several times on one piece of cloth to create a design or picture.
Ok I have to ask what is batiking? I am totally unfamiliar with the word.
