rust and a self portrait

A few from my walkabout today.

I am considering the psychological implications of the pictures I took today.  On one hand, I am behind a goddess-like image in my self portrait, and on the other, there are these images that portray both being locked in, and being locked out.

Oh, here is another one from today, where I'm walking under a ladder.  Pushing my luck?  Or letting go superstition?

  1. I can never walk under a ladder. I avoid them! Like the textures of your photos.

  5. hello barbara,

i am so behind in my blog visits! i'm glad to be here!

funny, i didn't think of being kept in or kept out until i read your words. when i looked at the images, i saw circles and spirals, circular steps...

isn't it the greatest thing to take a stroll with your camera? it's opened up a whole new world to me.

i hope all is well in your world, friend.

    love
