billboards
The billboards in Manhattan are truely mega-sized. Here are two that caught my eye. Taken through heavy panes of glass.
Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum
Yesterday my sister and I went down to the city, and visited Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum. Along with the tourists, we took dozens of pictures alongside the famous people. Here are a handful of those shots.

the wheels on the bus go round and round
The weather was a bit like summer today, in the mid 70's. Everybody loving it for the most part, but a touch too much, if you ask me. Supposed to go back down into the 50's in a couple of days... and that sounds right for Spring. 60's ok, too. After that I get grumpy.
Met my sister outside Logan's daycare center this afternoon, and spent a few hours with him while Melissa was busy with an extra class she had to attend. Logan has always loved seeing the city buses, and today he had his first ride in one. Later on we ate chicken nuggets and fries at KFC, and had ice cream at Dunkin Donuts. At home we played Red Light Green Light One Two Three, Concentration with dinosaur cards (he won hands down), played dolls with Woody, Jesse, and Buzz Lightyear. "That was cool." Logan said afterwards. He's so affectionate and loving... what a joy to be around. Spent more time playing than taking pics today, but got a couple. My sister with him on his first bus ride, and a really sunny shot showing those amazing curls, and smile.
