mild winter

Except for one freezing day a couple of days ago, the weather has been unbelievably mild.  In the 50's today.  Last year at this time we were set for blizzards and such.  Still a couple of months of winter left, so I wonder what will be?  Any snow in the future? 
Here was tonight's sunset.  You can just see how mild a day it was.

    we have the same kind of weather. Strange isn´t it? Last year 1.5 m snow and none this winter.

    This time last year Ireland was in the grip of record low temperatures - minus fifteen in some places. But so far this winter has been quite mild, though we have had some gale force winds, causing structural damage in some places. Great photo of a beautiful sunset.

    Also in Italy winter didn't come.
